Our Story

My story began in the spring of 2019 when my little boy's stretch bracelet broke while he was playing outside. He tried to collect all the beads that had scattered down the street but came up short. Tears streamed down his face, and I told him, 'Don't worry, I'll fix it.' Being a busy mom to four boys, my promise to actually mend the broken bracelet didn't come to fruition until he gently reminded me months later. After many failed attempts, we finally succeeded! My work was done. However, the universe had other plans. It just so happened to be around Mother's Day, so my little guy had the idea to make one for his Nonnie, and Great Grandmom, GiGi, and give them as gifts. I thought it was a great idea, and the sentiment behind it was so meaningful. How could I refuse? So he carefully strung each bracelet and looked to me to tie the knots. Needless to say, the bracelets became some of the most treasured gifts my mom and grandmom could ever have, and they wore their bracelets daily. Before we knew it, we were making bracelets for anyone who wanted one. Those two bracelets we made as gifts would somehow evolve into a business, resulting in thousands more bracelets in the years that followed.

How did we choose our name? 'The Lady Untier of Knots' is a devotion to the Blessed Mother, signifying our trust in her ability to untie what we once thought was lost. My hope is that our jewelry brings you peace and comfort while helping you untangle any knots in your life. It's a way to share your story, and I'm deeply honored to be a part of that."
